Description
Third Intermediate Period, Dynasties, 21-25, Ca. 1069-712 BC. An ancient Egyptian honey-colored beeswax shabtis in mummiform. Each wearing a wig, false beard, hoe, pick and seed bag carried on the back. These shabtis would come alive on the command of the dead and were called upon with magic from the Book of the Dead.
