Description
Rare World War II-Era Wilcox-Crittenden gimballed compass, housed inside a helmet-form binnacle of nickel-plated brass and glass. Compass face monogrammed WC; compass stamped underneath "Made in USA" and "41-7". Dimensions: (Overall) H 9.25" x Dia. 9.25" Condition: Not tested. Binnacle missing screws. Some pitting, a few losses to nickel plating. Compass with some losses to paint on case, light toning to face.

All the items in this auction remain at our Annex Gallery in Bridgeport, CT for pickup or shipping. Items must be picked up or shipped in the time frame of Monday, February 20th - Friday, February 24th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
