DESCRIPTION: Sevres oval porcelain box featuring a hinged lid decorated with a scene of courting lovers with a lamb. Piece is embellished on the sides with hand painted landscapes; each image, including that on the lid, is framed with gilt and textured foliage motifs and patterns. Finished with polychrome floral motifs inside base and lid and with gilt bronze trimmings on the lip and clasp. Marked on underside with a Chateau De Longpre hallmark and "Made in France". Scene is signed "MAX"
