DESCRIPTION: Magnificent Display table featuring a circular top embedded with a central Sevres charger inset depicting a French royal sovereign (possibly Louis XIV) overseeing the expansion of Versailles. Charger is surrounded by porcelain inset portraits of various ladies and one of a French royal crest, all held in place by a reticulated bronze mount atop a wooden tabletop. Skirt is decorated with reticulated bronze trimmings and legs are embellished with bronze, scroll form adornments finished with foliage and fasces designs in high relief. Charger is marked on underside with double Louis hallmark
