Description

Federal Civil War Model 1861 Cavalry Sword Belt Regulation Civil War cavalry saber belt, supple adjustable black patent leather with just some minor wear. Model 1851 brass belt plate with 3 piece German silver wreath - 1/2" broken off under wing tip, matching keeper. Attached to the belt are two black leather sword hangers 10 1/4" and 23" respectively each with 2 large brass rivets and secured to the belt by brass rings. A nice example of a regulation Civil War period cavalrymen's saber belt.
