The silver lid inscribed 'Prix Paul Hamoir' and dated 1939. This prize rewards a doctor of veterinary medicine, author, in French, Dutch or English, of the best book(s), preferably original, dealing with veterinary sciences: bovine, ovine, caprine and porcine.

Condition: (UV-checked)
- The censer in quasi excellent condition with superficial wear to the overglazed enamel design and the foot rim slightly polished.
- The silver cover with a chip to the finial, and with normal wear.
