Description
Good Chinese 19th Century Cubic Porcelain Teapot the front with a Lady in a Chair, the reverse with a Man and Boy and calligraphic inscriptions to handle & spout sides, single hole to inside base of spout, the cover with an applied Peach finial to the square cover, the base with 4 small "L" shaped feet and a 6 character Daoguang Seal Mark in iron red. Width from handle to spout 7 1/4 inches (18.3 cm.).
Condition
Age related wear to enamels and gold highlights, the calligraphy rubbed, minute nibble to spout tip.
