An early 20th-century National cash register. A brass machine with cast ornamental decor and colored buttons is mounted on a wooden box with the National label. Model no. 163911 421 is designated underneath the display. National Manufacturing Company or NCR is an American company that invented the first cash registers and massively produced them during the early 20th-century. Model 421 was developed in 1914.
