An Empire gilt and patinated bronze figural mantel clock depicting the Abduction of Hippodamia
the rectangular case with applied figural reliefs of winged maidens supporting baskets, the sides with applied military trophy mounts, the plinth on winged griffin feet, the whole surmounted by the figural group of the centaur carrying off his bride clad in a robe with flying drapery, the 4' dial with Roman numerals, the brass twin drum movement with silk suspension and outside countwheel striking on a bell, with pendulum and key, 48cm high
