A Chinese Writing Calligraphy Tray with Inkstone and Brush
Qing dynasty (1644-1911), a Chinese Rosewood scholar's tray, with two side drawers to hold brushes, ink stones, and other implements for calligraphy and painting, the tray has a ribbed pattern to sides, the tray comes together with a long narrow ink block decorated with the Eight Buddhist Treasures, and a long handled calligraphy brush with horsehair and handle.

Some surface scratches and wear from use; some ares of water marks; some nicks to edges; one think stress crack to box surface; bristles are probably later replacement on brush.
