George III Sterling Silver Centerpiece Epergne

The pierced navette-form central basket raised on swag hung supports issuing four scrolling branches with circular dishes and hung with four baskets, all on four paw feet. Height 14 inches (36 cm), length overall 24 inches (61 cm), total approximately 60 ounces, weighable.

Good condition overall; branches numbered, but apparently unmarked and not included in weight (total an additional 13 ounces if sterling); clearly hallmarked to frame and baskets; largest basket with breaks and losses to piercing; some of the round dishes bent out of round
