A George III sterling silver nine-basket epergne Thomas Pitts, London, 1768
(H: 15 1/4 in. W: 18 in. (at widest), D: 14 in., Total weight: 83.67 oz. t.)
A floriate stand with leaf and drupe-form feet and three extant detachable scrolled arms, accompanied by eight small hanging reticulated baskets and one large fitted reticulated basket, each engraved to well with armorial crest depicting Moor's head in ducal coronet, all with scalloped rims having shells and c-scrolls, all items marked; together with a pair of Victorian sterling silver reticulated baskets, by Charles Stuart Harris, London, 1894, marked.
