Buried at Forest Hills. Graduated from Bowdoin College in 1834. Received LLD in 1867. Admitted to Massachusetts Bar in 1867. Practiced in Boston 1837-1887. City Solicitor 1846. House of Representatives 1845-1847. City Solicitor in 1846. Executive Council 1854. Bowdoin Trustee 1871-1889. 1838 established the Sun Reporter Criminal Trials, Died May 28, 1889. Buried at Forest Hills in Boston. Has Staining on Bottom. Martha Ann Bush Cleveland Brunswick, ME portrait: Back says daughter of Professor Parker Cleveland and Martha Bush of Brunswick, Maine. Born July 16, 1812. Married Peleg Whitman Chandler of New Gloucester. Had 4 children: Ellen Maria July 12, 1839. Horace Parker September 13, 1842. Parker Cleveland October 7, 1848 and Arthur Matthew (no date notes). Died November 1, 1881. Buried at Forest Hills. Has tear above head and paint chipping along bottom. Frames: 49" x 37".
