Nice pair of CDV photographs of Union General George B. McClellan, an American soldier, civil engineer, railroad executive, and politician who served as Lincoln’s unsuccessful opponent in the 1864 Presidential election and ultimately as governor of New Jersey. The first photograph features McClellan in his very fine General’s uniform, standing next to his wife, Mary. The second is a crisp bust view.
