18th century, export for the English market, possibly Chinese, lignum vitae and/or other tropical exotic dense highly figured hard woods throughout, very heavy, dovetailed drawers with tropical secondary woods, back rail and drawer supports appear to be oak, some elements are possibly red cedar, figured moldings with bright sapwood, scalloped skirt and cabriole legs, dovetailed and rose head nail construction, 57-1/2 x 40 x 22-1/2 in.

very good overall with natural cracks, gaps and inclusions, and other natural wood flaws throughout, laminations at legs (as made), brasses are replaced, scattered typical veneer and banding repairs, minor patch at one drawer back, some small of color retouch, other typical minor repairs and flaws Â
