Antique oil on canvas painting by Clifford Montague depicting a forest pasture scene with Eton College in the distance. Measures (frame) 17" tall x 25.25" wide, and (sight) 9.25" tall x 17.5" wide. Does not appear to be signed on the front, but signed along top stretcher verso "Eton Clifford Montague". Condition: frame appears to be original but has a few large scattered losses, painting appears to have some in-painting done to the sky near the middle and also to the far upper right corner, canvas had been previously relined and restored, see images.
