Vintage c1940 Rose Applique Quilt 2 of 2. Measures 76x98 inches. This quilt has a center horseshoe shaped ribbon and bow with a vine of roses in the center. The perimeter has a ribbon swag with roses. It is machine pieced, hand appliqued, hand embroidered and hand quilted. Fabrics are mostly satin sateens with a white sateen back and thin cotton batting. The scalloped edge is finished with a white cotton bias binding. It is in good condition, better than the previous one with small spots, and the fabric down the center is slightly different color than along the sides. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
