Description
Most attractive, elaborately-decorated photograph of a German officer, 10.25 x 13 in. (sight) overall, displays a full-length portrait of an unidentified German officer in uniform, his gloves in hand and his visor cap upon the table beside him. The presentation is decorated with black, white, and red national colors embroidery at the left, blue and white embroidery at the right, and gold bullion embroidery at the top and bottom. At the top appears a Bavarian crown above the legend: 'I can proudly say I wear the crown', the bottom reading: '[Bavarian] Leib-Regt 1913-1916' In a period decorative gilt wood frame.
