Description

Meissen, Germany. Group of two porcelain vessels including one potpourri vase and one smaller vase. Each with applied floral decoration throughout. The potpourri vase with an applied figurine of a hunting dog and birds. The potpourri vase lacking a lid. Each marked along the underside.
Small Vase; height: 4 in x diameter: 2 3/4 in. Potpourri Vase; height: 7 in x width: 6 in x depth: 4 1/2 in.

Condition

The items are in generally good condition with no major chips or cracks. There are a few scattered areas of loss to the edges of the petals, which do not affect the overall piece. One front leg of the dog on the larger piece is missing. When inspected under UV light, the short vase did not show any visible signs of restoration. Under UV light, the tall vase has several scattered areas of possible repaint. Wear to the underside, consistent with age and use. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
