Vintage Applique Quilt Top Basket Of Flowers 1930's - Hand Sewn 96-1/2" X 81"

This unused unwashed cotton hand stitched appliqued Basket of Flowers quilt top is a graphic and visual vintage beauty.
The quilt top is all hand sewn and with fabrics from the 1930's with approx. 5 stitches to the inch. This was purchased as a quilt pattern kit with everything supplied to finish.
This quilt kit has been identified as "Alice Cabot #7032", also sold as "Windsor Rose #7024" and was featured in the Home Arts Needlecraft magazine in November 1934 and February 1939; per the book "Quilt Kits, 20th Century Short Cuts" by Rose Marie Werner.
This quilt top measures a generous 96-1/2" x 81" and is in very good unwashed condition, no wear, no fading, no holes or repairs. There are few scattered small storage oxidation spots from decades of storage and a larger stain at edge as shown in last photo. Since this quilt top has never been washed there are tiny very pale blue dots in the background, stencil marks,showing the quilter where to quilt and place appliques. You can see the pattern numbers on the backside of appliques through backing in photos.

Strong and sturdy no fabric splitting and ready for any project.
