Native American, Southwestern United States, Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan), Mogollon culture, ca. 1000 to 1200 CE. A minimalist bowl formed via the coil-and-scrape technique with a round but stable base, hemispherical walls, and a slightly flared rim. The basin interior is enveloped in a uniform layer of black pigment, and the russet-hued exterior surfaces bear softened remains of its originally corrugated surfaces. Size: 6.375" W x 3.75" H (16.2 cm x 9.5 cm)

Condition
Repaired with small losses and adhesive residue along break lines. Abrasions and nicks, with softening to exterior corrugations, and light fading to original pigment. Nice earthen deposits throughout.
