Square brass cage with ball finial and hanging ring, single bird on branch automaton with head, beak, and tail movements. Carved gilt wood base. Currently running with bellows working. Overall 19" h. x 9.5" x 9.5". This lot is from a $12 million dollar bay front property in Florida. Carefully curated by a committed Francophile lover of all things French and purchased throughout the later 20th Century in some of the finest markets and shops in France.
