A Migration Period sword, 1st half of the 5th century A.D.Oben 5,5 cm breite Klinge, die sich zur Spitze hin geringfÃ¼gig auf 5 cm verjÃ¼ngt und vorne im Verlauf der letzten 10 cm auf beiden Seiten leicht nach auÃŸen gewÃ¶lbt zur Spitze einschwingt. Kaum merklich nach innen gewÃ¶lbter Mittelteil und die Scheiden durch eine ca. 1,5 cm breite Fase abgesetzt. Die trapezoide Griffangel fast rechtwinklig, aber bereits im stumpfen Winkel von der Klinge abgesetzt und mittig mit einem Loch versehen. Die in der Aufsicht rautenfÃ¶rmige Parierstange von 1,2 cm StÃ¤rke mit ovalem Loch in der Mitte. LÃ¤nge mit Griffangel 96 cm. Breite der Parierstange 9,7 cm.
