Pair of Japanese Hiramaki-e Lacquered Tortoiseshell Brush Pots, Meiji Period (1868-1912), one decorated with a cockerel, other with a peacock with mother-of-pearl embellished tail feathers, integral painted wood bases, h. 7 1/4 in., dia. 6 5/8 in.
