Five (5) Palekh School Russian painted lacquer boxes, all with hinged or removable lids and red-lacquered interiors, including one (1) decorated with a scene from the Ruslan and Ludmilla legend; one (1) decorated with a scene from the Firebird legend; one (1) decorated with a scene from the Snow Maiden legend having two hinged lids to upper and lower compartments; one (1) rectangular form; and one (1) boat form. All boxes with signatures to lower edge of scene. Two with sticker labels to undersides. Ranging in size from 2 7/8" H x 4" W to 8 1/4" H x 5 7/8" W. 20th century.
