Description
1st item: Marble portrait bust of Diana after the Diana of Versailles full figure statue, originally executed in 100 BCE, now in the Louvre, mounted on a circular plinth base. 19 3/4" H x 13" W x 7 1/2" D. Continental, 19th century. 2nd-3rd items: Pair (2) of gilt bronze and alabaster figural garnitures after Charles Hippolyte Ferrat (France, 1822-1882) depicting gilt barefooted classical female figures carrying ewers upon their shoulder raised upon an alabaster square plinth base with gilt decorative bands, including cord, foliate, and relaxing figures in bas relief upon four claw feet. Signed H FERRAT to base of figures. 17 1/4" H x 6 3/4" square. Continental, late 19th century.
Condition
1st item: Scattered minor surface abrasions and fleabites throughout. Plinth base with loss measuring 1/4" x 5/8" and area of old restoration measuring 1 1/4" x 3 1/8". 2nd-3rd items: Scattered oxidation. Minor scattered fleabites and natural fissures to base.
