Description
Six (6) porcelain polychrome and parcel-gilt figures. Includes four (4) small Meissen figures: one (1) small bagpipe musician wearing a tricorn hat and satchel upon a square base; one (1) small eighteenth-century lady with gardening tools beside a naturalistic tree having upon a square base; one (1) small cherub wearing apron, cape, and cap holding a fan and gesturing upon a circular base; and one (1) small cherub magician wearing a hood and quiver presenting a bunny emerging from a box with a wand upon a circular base. Also includes one (1) Meissen classical Ceres figure depicting the Greek goddess of the harvest draped in floral-patterned garments, wearing a crown of wheat, and carrying a sheaf and scythe upon a scrolling base. All 5 preceding figures with Meissen crossed swords mark and incised numbers to the bases. Also includes one (1) classical female Urana figure, emblematic of architecture, the with floral-patterned dress holding a compass and grasping a blueprint upon a pedestal with additional architectural tools at her hip and feet upon a circular base with floral cartouche; very faint, Meissen style crossed sword mark to base. Items ranging in size from 4" H x 1 3/4" W x 2" D to 8 3/4" H x 3 1/4" W x 2 5/8" D. All German, 19th to early 20th century.

Condition
All items with minute wear to gilt and polychrome decoration. Cherub magician with loss of the top of wand and the bunny's right forepaw. Ceres figure with losses to crown, sheaf, scythe, and figure's thumb; prior restoration to sleeve and both hands, largest area measuring 3/4" x 3/4". Architect figure with loss to one finger.
