OUTSTANDING Vintage 1920's Holmes County, OH Amish Quilt ~Nice Black Background!

Description

This GORGEOUS cotton 1910's/1920's Holmes County, Ohio authentic Amish bowties quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with diagonal rows of colorful bowties on a black background.

It measures 70" X 82" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, inconspicuous spots and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall.

Theare are straight line, orange peel, and rainbow designs quilted throughout at 7 stitches to the inch.

The back is a muted solid raspberry color, the treadle machine stitched binding is solid green, and the batting is thin.

RARELY do you find authentic, older Amish quilts with such WONDERFUL COLORS -- a true COLLECTOR'S QUILT!
