This cotton 40's/50's turquoise blue and white drunkard's path quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted. I'm told the quilt is Holmes County Amish. Everything about the quilt -- is consistent with that provenance except for the white background (not usually seen in Holmes County Amish). It measures a generous 88" X 92" and is in excellent condition, with light surface dirt in places and no wear. The quilting is superb, with quilting around the perimeter of each piece and in overlapping circle and cable/braided designs in the border, all at an even 9-10 stitches to the inch. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same cheery turquoise blue used in the interior, and the batting is thin.
