Description
First half 19th century. An Elisha Hotchkiss wooden works clock, mahogany veneer case, stenciled cornice and half pilasters, and mirrored lower tablet. Wooden painted face and retains original label. Refinished and replaced mirror. 31.5" h. 16.25"w. 4.75"d. and a Seth Thomas, Plymouth Hallow triple decker clock. Ogee cornice, half pilasters over sleigh fronts. Reverse painted tablets of "Hudson St., N.Y." and an American eagle. Painted tin face, brass works and partial label, Some wear and loss and flaking to tablet reverse paintings.
