Description
Copperplate etching by Louis Icart (French, 1888 - 1950). Entitled "By the Fireplace", it is taken from the series "L'Ingenue Libertine" (1926). Printed by Editions Excelsior, Paris. one of 551 impressions. Signed by Icart in lower right in pencil. This is a beautiful print, full of emotion and brooding. Good condition. Matted and framed, not examined outside of frame. Measurements: 7 3/4" wide by 10 1/2" tall (as matted).
