A Louis XV Provincial style stained oak tall case clock
19th century

height 94 3/4in (240cm); width 21 1/2in (54.5cm); depth 15in (38cm)

Condition

In two sections - hood with face and case. Structurally sound. General marks, nicks, scratches, rubbing and wear. Some shrinkage to panels. In overall restored condition. Works largely removed, some elements retained, now with a battery powered movement. Oxidation to repousse dial surround. With some wear to enamel dial. Pulls to case doors replaced with washers. With weights and pendulum.
