Description
Ancient Near East, Northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 600 BCE. A set of two cast-bronze ibex figurines, each with an integral suspension loop to be worn as a pendant. The first animal stands with slender legs atop an integral plinth while the larger ibex has delineated rod-form legs. Fine patina has developed across each piece. Size of largest: 1.75" L x 1.25" H (4.4 cm x 3.2 cm); 1.7" H (4.3 cm) on included custom stand.

Condition
Repair to legs of larger ibex, with small chips and light adhesive residue along break lines. Both figures with minor abrasions and earthen deposits, otherwise in good condition with nice patina.
