PROVENANCE
Emlen Etting was an American painter, sculptor, filmmaker, most known for his paintings of male nudes and queer subjectivity. Today Etting's works are included in the collections of Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Allentown Art Museum, and the Museum of American Art at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Yale Uniiversity.
