Description
An early 20th century color woodcut landscape on paper attributed to Gustave Baumann, German/American, 1881-1971. Titled "Tent Rock Trail", depicts a figure walking through a rocky New Mexico pass with pueblo in the distance. Unsigned, stamped with Red "Hand in Heart" chop lower right. Slight discoloration, small indent lower center, not examined out of frame. Image 9 1/2 x 10 3/4" high, in a later wood frame with some wear, 14 1/2 x 16 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $1,000-2,000 NOTE: This is an unsigned print without a title or edition number, possibly a second as the figure lacks the olla that is seen above her head in some other examples.
Condition
Slight discoloration, small indent lower center, not examined out of frame, frame with some wear.
