First edition. 167 in 84 vols. Half cloth with label to spine. - A total of 99 parts appeared in the first section, the complete work was never finished. Until 1889, 167 text volumes and 1 plate volume were published, then the project was discontinued. "Unfinished monumental undertaking, for the editing of which the first scholars of the time were consulted. The work is still usable today" (Zischka). Only the text is available here. - Clean and well preserved.

Bis 1889 erschienen 167 Textbände und 1 Tafelband, dann wurde das Projekt eingestellt. "Unvollendet gebliebenes monumentales Unternehmen, zu dessen Bearbeitung die ersten Gelehrten der Zeit beigezogen wurden. Das Werk ist auch heute noch benützbar" (Zischka).
