Antique Asian Barrel Side Table/Stool Made of “Jichimu” Wood (Rosewood) and Mother of Pearl Inlay in Beautiful Asian Motifs And 2 Antique Asian Corner Chairs With Mother of Pearl Inlay - 3 Piece Set
Jichimu wood is very rare as to bamboo is an inexpensive wood, but this was designed purposely in the expensive wood as a sign of reverse snobbery reserved for the very rich at that time.
Bamboo though inexpensive also represents longevity as it remains green during the winter giving this unusual piece a lot of history culture and meaning.

If an order is cancelled, we will offer store credit minus 20% of the full amount of the cancelled order. The store credit will valid for 6 months from the original order date.
