Description
Gene Kornman was employed at the Hal Roach Studios as a photographer. He became Harold Lloyd's personal photographer until the mid-30's. He then joined Fox Studios as portraitist. He worked with Frank Powolny (also photographer at Fox), and together, they took pictures of many stars until his retirement in the 60's. He took the picture of Marilyn in the famous gold lamé dress she wore in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. The dress was considered too risque for the times and only appeared in the film for a few seconds.
