Roger San Miguel had a gallery on Mabini Street in Manila, which during the 20th century was a place where art could be bought cheaply from Filipino artists. But the Mabini Art movement was a phenomenon that combined working artists catering to mainstream desires while adding their own flair. This often meant using a more realistic painting style with personal flair- or in San Miguel's case Abstract Expressionism with fauvist undertones. Reminiscent of Mexican Muralism, Roger San Miguel's style elevates ordinary to extraordinary. His work showcases a deep love for his home and his true artistic talent.
