Description
2 7/8" Geode Stillwell found in Scotland Co., Mo by Rodney Gray. The Indians used whatever they could get their hands on that would chip a tool and there are geodes in NE Mo. This is the only Stillwell I have seen made out of this material. Stillwell makers didn't cook their chert for their blades desiring a stronger blade that didn't chip off easily and most geode simply will not work without heat. This is truly a rare piece made by a master Stillwell maker. Comes with Ryan Keele Certificate of Authenticity. Arrowheads, Prehistoric, Ancient, Authentic Native American Artifacts
