Carolyn Dulin was a graduate of the Cranbrook Academy of Art with an MFA in 1960 and of Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA and a BFA in 1954. She was a professional artist working in clay and had a long career creating unique stoneware wall pieces, custom ceramics for residential and public places, and sculptural figures with tapestries of multicolored porcelain. Over the years she gave workshops and exhibited at venues such as Pewabic Pottery, the Detroit Institute of Art, Ann Arbor Art Association, Flint Institute of Art and exhibited her award winning art in locations from New Mexico to California, Texas, Ohio and Michigan.
