Description
This gorgeous 22” tall x 10” x 5” deep cartel clock case of the middle to late 1800’s is most likely the product of Courtecouisse-Fils, Suiss. The wonderfully cast and chased case was likely restored in the 20 th c. and has gleaming gilt surface with lovely convex enamel on copper dial. The delicate gilt metal open work is a particularly nice touch, and it is in running, and comes with elaborate key. Condition: This clock is time only with a pendulum (not visible). The case measures 22" x 10" x 5" with a 5" porcelain dial and a brass insert. The face shows Roman numerals and a 15 day movement. Light fading to the dial. Condition:Dimensions:10" x 6" x 22".
