Such pretty coloring to these two vases. Our Manager of Packing, Esmerelda, loves the color of these vases. She, once in her younger days in the early 1920's, grew a garden of lavender and purple colored flowers. They always reminded her of the days when she was a toddler and her great great grandmother Alberta would scold her for picking her pansies and violets. Oh, the fond memories Esmerelda had of her great great granny. She was always a delight and really, really liked the men. She lived to be over a hundred years old and had eight different husbands. The last started dating Esmerelda after her great great granny finally died. You see, he was but a young strapper. When she finally died of heart failure, he pursued Esmerelda and they ended up getting married. She was but 20 years old and he 31. They had a long married happy life together with four children. It was after the children left the nest when they were in their 40's, they finally had time of their own. That's when they decided to part ways and move on from one another. They finally figured out they really didn't like each other. Life is funny that way. You know. Just when you think you are the happiest, life throws you a curve ball or two. She grew stronger and more resilient from that. It was then she came to work for us. Esmerelda, our Manager of Shipping, is a star employee of ours. At 102 years young, she is still going strong and never misses a day of work. Sure she falls asleep throughout the day and sits in a daze staring out the window. We love her though. Each and every package that ships from us has her seal of approval. Bless her old soul.
