Description
A Chinese carved and pierced rhinoceros horn on stand, Qing Dynasty, circa 1880, openwork pierced with five immortals, one with a boy attendant, another with an ape, amongst pine, magnolia and plum branches enriched with gourds and fruits, 81cm longest curve, the stand 35cm and overall 82cm The horn; Generally very good. The rim on the thickest end is a little chipped, and old drying cracks. The vcarving is very good wiht only tiny losses, bruises and scuffs. The stand: Generally very good condition
