EMIKO AIDA (b.1956) was born and raised in Japan. From 1978 until 1982 she studied Fine art at the Tokyo University of Art and Design, Japan and graduated with a bachelor of arts. From 1982 until 1984 she made her Master of Arts at the Tokyo National University of Fine Art and Music. After her graduation Emiko taught art at the Tokyo National University of Fine Art and Music, Japan and at the Royal College of Art, United Kingdom. Emiko lives permanently in London, UK. She is a member of Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. Her work is exhibited in over many galleries throughout the U.K., the U.S.A. and Japan and in many private, public and corporate collections including the New York Public Library, USA and Guangdong Museum of Art, China.
