Acquired by the present owner as lot 333 of Sotheby’s New York February 15, 1989 contemporary art auction and accompanied with a copy of original receipt of purchase.

Also accompanied by a framed display of 18 reproduction prints depicting the series 'Girl of the Golden West' from which the offered painting derives, as well as an excerpt on the series, all displayed in a glazed frame overall measuring 36 inches by 35.25 inches.
