Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A dazzling jar mold-made from blue-green glass and boasting a bulbous body adorned with vertical ribs. The slender neck expands to a lipped rim, while lustrous flakes of gold, silver, and rainbow-hued iridescence adorn the surface. A fabulous utilitarian example of Roman artistry! Size: 2.1" Diameter x 2.9" H (5.3 cm x 7.4 cm)
