Jean Baptiste Camille Corot (1796-1875) was a French painter born in Paris on July 16, 1796 and died in the same place on February 22, 1875. Throughout his life, he insisted on traveling and sketching. Traveled almost all over France, and also to Holland, Switzerland, England and Italy. Was elected as a member of the selection committee of the Salon. Corot witnessed the rise and fall of Classicism, Romanticism and Realism in the history of art until the rise of Impressionism. As a result, Corot's body is tinged with a mixture of colors and artistic styles of each era. Corot's life is like an excellent poem of great talent.
