A glazed stoneware figurine depicting a seated gorilla monkey made by Knud Kyhn for Royal Copenhagen and dated from the 1930s. Marked with green and blue ink marks, incised number 20216 and other incised marks, on the bottom. Royal Copenhagen is the Danish Royal Porcelain Manufactory. Founded on May 1, 1775 under the patronage of Queen Juliana Maria, the sixth court porcelain manufactory in Europe.
