The canvas has not been lined.

There are pin holes to each corners of the canvas, which are visible when framed.

There is an area of craquelure to the sea on the green pigments. There are one or two other signs of craquelure to some of the thicker impasto.

There is some light surface dirt.

UV light reveals no clear evidence of retouching or restoration.

Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good general condition and ready to hang.
